- Customers want to read the book right away in the browser or app, and you don't have your own reader.
- Off-the-shelf foreign solutions are expensive and stick their own brand over your books.
- Building a reader from scratch takes months of development and money a small house doesn't have.
- 01You send us the logo, colors and domain.
- 02We put the reader on your website and into the app.
- 03You upload books and sell, the reader is yours.
What Čitač can do
Everything you need for this part of the job - in one place, no copying between tools.
Your brand, not ours
Logo, colors, name and domain are yours. The customer sees your house, not us. The "Powered by" line can also be removed.
Works everywhere
The same reader on the web and in the mobile app for iPhone and Android. One solution, not three separate builds.
All book formats
EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW3, FB2 and the comic format CBZ. The customer opens whatever they have, without converting to another format.
Serbian and Cyrillic
Full Serbian language, one-click Latin to Cyrillic switching and 8 fonts with full support for our letters.
Book protection
Copy blocking, visible and invisible per-customer watermarks, so the book isn't resold further.
Notes and highlights
Highlighting, notes, bookmarks, in-book search and sharing quotes as images with your logo.
Remembers where you left off
Position, notes and settings follow the reader across devices, or stay on the device, as you decide.
Free preview and paywall
You let the first few chapters be free, then lock the rest. The customer tries before they buy.
What you get
Not features - results. Here's what concretely changes once Čitač takes over this part of the job.
Your own reader in a few days
Instead of months of development, you get a ready reader under your brand and start selling.
One reader, all platforms
The same experience on the web, iPhone and Android, without three separate projects.
The books stay yours
Protection and watermarking make reselling harder, so your catalog stays yours.
For publishers, bookstores and anyone who sells or shares e-books and wants their own reader without months of development.
Frequently asked questions
What does white-label mean?
It means the reader is yours in appearance: your logo, colors, name and domain. Customers don't see GoSimple, they see your house. We're behind the scenes maintaining the tech.
Does it work on the phone, not just on the web?
Yes. The same reader goes on your website and into the mobile app for iPhone and Android. You don't build three different readers, but one that works everywhere.
Which book formats does it support?
EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW3, FB2 and the comic format CBZ. Your customers open the book they have, without converting to another format.
Does it support Cyrillic and Serbian?
Yes, fully. It has one-click Latin to Cyrillic switching and 8 fonts with full support for č, ć, š, ž, đ and Cyrillic.
How are books protected from reselling?
The reader can block text copying and imprint a visible and invisible watermark with the customer's details. The protection is the best possible for the web, though no protection is absolute.
Can I offer a free preview of the book?
Yes. You set how many chapters are free, then the rest locks until the customer buys. That way they try before buying, like in a shop window.
Who uploads the books?
You do. Through your own system or admin you upload the e-books, and the reader displays them. We help you connect it to your website.
How long does setup take?
For basic branding and adding it to the website, usually a few days. The mobile app in the stores takes a bit longer due to Apple and Google review.
How is it paid?
The license is fixed, for 6 or 12 months. There's no per-reader charge or hidden costs. We set the price based on the number of titles and the level of branding, so get in touch for a quote.
Can I remove "Powered by GoSimple"?
Yes, the line is removed in a higher tier, so the reader is entirely yours without a single mention of us.
Put Čitač in your own app
Your brand, your colors, on the web and in your mobile app. Get in touch and we'll prepare a quote for your house.
